Father, as today marks the end of the month, let today be the beginning of better things in my life, family and nation. Better health, better joy, better news, better progress, better…..

Proverbs 23:18 KJV[18] For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Father, as surely as the end has come to this month, command an end to this Coronavirus all over the world in the name of Jesus.

Mark 4:35-41 NKJV[35] On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” [36] Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. [37] And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. [38] But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” [39] Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. [40] But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” [41] And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

TRUE STORY.

George Muller of Bristol, a great man of God was preaching in Edingburg one day. The hall was packed full.
A well know agnostic who never believed in God was there out of curiosity.
Then a baby in the hand of his mother began to cry uncontrollably. The mother tried to leave the hall with her baby but no way to go out.
Then George Muller went to the mother, ask her to sit down and announce that he will ask Jesus to put baby to sleep.
He prayed a simple prayer. Instantly the baby slept sweetly.
The agnostic was shocked, He said if that man has a God like that, it’s time for me to know that God.
He gave his life to Christ, he became a great man of God who won thousands to Christ.
LESSON. BEYOND A CRYING BABY WAS GOD’S PLAN TO SAVE A SOUL FOR HIS GLORY.

I PRAY THAT WHATEVER IS CAUSING THE WORLD TO CRY LIKE A BABY NOW WILL BE FOR THE UTMOST GLORY OF GOD AND SHAME OF THE DEVIL in the name of Jesus.

OUT OF YOUR OWN CRY TODAY IS COMING THE SWEET SHOUT OF JOY in the name of Jesus.

AND THEN STORM CAME…

God is not the author of evil but God may allow it to bring out or reveal His good.

Jer.29:11;
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Ps.73:1.
Psalm 73:1 NKJV[1] Truly God is good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart.

Matt.19:17. JESUS said God is good.

QUESTIONS TIME.

Many are asking

Why will a good God allow the virus that is killing people.
Why has He not stopped the plague.

JESUS was the one that initiated the journey to the other side. If he is God, didn’t he know there will be a storm? Why did he not stop the storm from happening in the first place.
Why was he sleeping when the storm was raging.
Could God be sleeping right now on us?

Even the disciples challenged him and wondered whether he cared about their safety.

Are many not saying the same about God today questioning whether he cares for the world. Some are even saying, God wants to destroy the whole world as he did in the days of Noah.

The Jews wondered why JESUS delayed in coming to heal Lazarus if indeed he loved Lazarus.
John 11:36-37

ANSWERS.

God did not leave us without answers to our questions.

1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV[14] But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The natural man will keep asking these questions. It takes the spiritual man to SEE BEYOND THE STORM.

EXAMPLES.

1. The natural man wonders why Joseph should be sold to slavery by His own brothers, lied against by Mrs Portipher and thrown into the prison despite his faithfulness to God.

The spiritual man sees beyond Joseph’s storm and recognises a prime minister born out of a prisoner.

The road to greatness is NOT always a smooth one.

HAVE YOU SUFFERED SOME INJUSTICE LIKE JOB? IF YOU WILL SEE BEYOND THE INJUSTICE, YOU CAN REJOICE TODAY BECAUSE GOLD IS COMING OUT OF THAT FIRE OF INJUSTICE.

2. The natural man wonders why Job, the most righteous man must suffer all those afflictions, but the spiritual man sees the vindication of Job and the recovery and doubling of all he had lost. Job,42.

IF YOU BEGIN TO SEE BEYOND YOUR CHAPTER ONE TODAY, YOU WILL START THANKING GOD FOR CHAPTER 42 THAT IS ON THE WAY.

3. The natural man wonders why Shedrach and friends who refused to worship idols will still be thrown into the fire about to be burnt to ashes. But the spiritual man sees not only their deliverance but promotion at the end of the trial. Dan.3:30.

.TESTIMONY. A young Christian bank clerk suffered persecution in the hands of his unbeliever supervisor. He was transferred to another branch in the process. While at this branch, he quickly rose to become branch manager. He got about four promotions above the supervisor that was persecuting him.

Jeremiah 20:11 NKJV[11] But the LORD is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.

4. The natural man wonders why PAUL, the Chief of Apostles must go through so much afflictions, shipwrecks, beatings, stoning, snake bite 2Cor.11:25, but the spiritual man sees a man destined to see Rome and fulfil his destiny and ministry. Acts 19:21.

GOD ASKED PRPHET OBADARE ONE DAY WHETHER HE WANTED TO BE HEALED OF HIS BLINDNESS OR TO BE USED MIGHTILY BY GOD. HE CHOSE THE LATTER.

BEYOND HIS BLINDNESS, WE SEE A MAN WHO , HEALED THE SICK, ROSE THE DEAD, LED MILLIONS TO CHRIST, ORCHESTRATED MANY REVIVALS AND REACHED HIS ROME BY FULFILLING DESTINY.

5. The natural man saw the apostles being persecuted and imprisoned and their churches closed down. But the spiritual man sees them scattered abroad preaching the gospel everywhere and multitudes of souls being won with signs and wonders.

THE PANDEMIC HAS CAUSED CHURCH BUILDINGS LOCK UP BUT THE WORD OF GOD HAS BEEN LET LOOSE LIKE NEVER BEFORE OVER THE AIRWAVES. MANY MORE SOULS ARE REPORTED. EING SAVED NOW. SEE BEYOND YOUR STORM.

5. The natural man says if JESUS is the son of God, let him command his crucifiers to scatter and deliver himself from the gruesome death on the cross. But the spiritual man sees the redemption of the lost world only made possible by the death of the son of God.

For through one man sin entered the world and through one man salvation must also come to the world. Rom.5:12-21.

If those who crucified Jesus had known what the spiritual man would know, if they had known the mysterious wisdom of God, they would not have crucified the son of God. 1Cor.2:6-8.

God’s plans, purposes and processes always go beyond the problem. MARK 4. JESUS SAW GLORY BEYOND THE STORM SO HE WAS NOT MOVED BY IT.

I PRAY THE LORD OPEN YOUR EYES TO SEE GLORY COMING OUT OF YOUR STORY in the name of Jesus.

TO BE A SPIRITUAL MAN, YOU MUST BEGIN TO SEE BEYOND YOUR STORM.
WHAT GOD WANT YOU TO SEE, YOU CANNOT SEE WITH YOUR NATURAL EYES.

1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV[9] But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

WHEN YOU SEE WITH SPIRITUAL EYES BEYOND YOUR STORM, YOU WILL SEE

1. All things working together for good….Rom.8:28.
2. Though the enemy meant your storm for evil but God… Gen.50:22
3. Many are the afflictions of the righteous….Ps.34:19.
4. 2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT[17] For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
5. Sin, self and Satan are behind afflictions, but God may allow them for a greater good and purpose.
Psalm 119:71 NKJV[71] It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.

I WILL NOT BE A CHRISTIAN TODAY BUT FOR THE AFFLICTION THAT DREW ME TO CHURCH WHERE CHRIST SAVED MY SOUL.

WHAT THE DISCIPLES SAW BEYOND THE STORM

1. They saw the PRESENCE of God manifested. Mark 4:36. They probably took it for granted that
JESUS was with them until the storm came. I

Isaiah 43:2 NKJV[2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

YOU MAY NOT KNOW THAT GOD IS TRULY WITH YOU UNTIL YOU GO THROUGH SOME STORMS OF LIFE.

2. They saw the PURPOSE of God revealed. Jer,29:11. Mark 4:38. “….do you not care that we are perishing”

HIS PURPOSE IS NOT THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH…

John 3:16 NKJV[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

2 Peter 3:9 NKJV[9] The Lord is……not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

3. They saw HIS POWER demonstrated. They probably didn’t believe when he told the. In Matt.28:18; that all authority has been given to him in heaven and on earth.
Eph,3:20. Power belong to God…Ps.62:11

4. They saw HIS PROMISES fulfilled. Rom.4:21;
Romans 4:21 NKJV[21] and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Hebrews 10:23 NKJV[23] Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Job 34:28 NKJV[28] So that they caused the cry of the poor to come to Him; For He hears the cry of the afflicted.

Isaiah 59:19 NKJV[19]….When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.

5. They saw HIS PEACE secured. Prince of peace.Isa.9:6;

Peace I give you. John 14:27.

In me you have peace….in the world, tribulation16:33;

Ps.121:4. He will not sleep in the manner of men.

6. They saw THE PROTECTION of God.

Psalm 91:10 NKJV[10] No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

Psalm 91:15 NKJV[15] He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

MY TESTIMONY.

A storm brought me to England, but beyond that storm was God’s plan to birth a church, a ministry and a family for His glory.

Conclusion.

1. To see beyond your storm.
Stop being a natural man, surrender your life to Jesus.

1 Corinthians 2:14,16 NKJV[14] But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. [16] For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

YOU CAN RECEIVE THE MIND OF CHRIST TODAY IF YOU SURRENDER TO HIM.

2. Begin to please God and remain in the centre of his will, in his purpose for your life. Serve God.

3. Have a strong fellowship with God, his word, his worship.

4. Be anxious for nothing, but pray about everything.

5. Have faith in God that as long as you remain a child,of God, all things will turn out well and work together for your good. Isa, 3:10.

Hebrews 11:22 NKJV[22] By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.

Whatever your storm is today, begin to see beyond that storm. Keep your eyes on the destination.

Storm of sickness, see healing.
Storm of sorrow, see joy.
Storm of sin, see salvation, storm of Satan, see overcoming victory.
Storm of barrenness, see fruitfulness.
Storm of global pandemic, see global restoration, global rest global reawakening and global revival. Alleluyah.

1. Father, open the eyes of my understanding, let me begin to see beyond my present storm and give you praise for the glory ahead.

2. Father, you are a good God, therefore, I receive the blessings of your goodness in the midst of my storms.

3. The storm could not stop the disciples, but it stopped for them. Father, I decree no storm will stop my success, every storm will stop for me in the name of Jesus.

4. Father, in the midst of this pandemic, manifest your power, your promises, your presence, your purpose and your peace and your protection in the name of Jesus.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS.

Psalm 55:22 NKJV[22] Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 30:5 NKJV[5] For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 126:1-2 KJV[1] When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. [2] Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

Nahum 1:9 KJV[9] What do ye imagine against the Lord ? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
