Opportunity is the mother of change. A change from poverty to wealth, from lack to abundance, from stagnancy to progress is as a result of maximised opportunity.

Success comes when preparation meets opportunity. If you want to be addressed as successful, you must dress yourself for the occasion.

TYPES OF OPPORTUNITIES.

1. Opportunity to move to the next level in life. David from Shepherd boy to National Star.
2. Opportunity to meet Destiny Helpers.

Galatians 6:10 NKJV
[10] Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

3. Opportunity for kingdom harvest and prosperity. Isaac. Gen.26:12-14. Prov.11:30.

4. Opportunity for Kingdom service. Joseph. Gen.39.

When you work with integrity, you will walk out of austerity and walk into prosperity.

PART TWO.

WHAT CAN HAPPEN TO OPPORTUNITIES.

Opportunity is an appropriate or favourable time or occasion. It can be your chance for advancement and success in life. Today is somebody’s opportunity to surrender to Jesus and have a new name, new joy, new direction in life.

Psalm 102:13 NKJV
[13] You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.

1. Opportunity can be missed. Manoah. Judges 13:1-9.

“Opportunities are like sunrise. If you wait too long, you miss them”.

2. Opportunities can be transferred. Esther 4:14.

3. Opportunities can be robbed. 1Cor.16:9.

4. Opportunities can give birth to opportunities. 1Sam.16.

5. Opportunities can be disguised. 1Kings 17.

6. Opportunities carry risks and challenges. 1Cor.16:9.

PART THREE

HOW TO BENEFIT FROM THE LAW OF OPPORTUNITIES.

1. Make the most of every opportunity.

Ephesians 5:16-17 GNT
[16] Make good use of every opportunity you have, because these are evil days. [17] Don’t be fools, then, but try to find out what the Lord wants you to do.

Eccl.9:10.

2. Pray and fast for favourable divine opportunities to come your way.
Manoah. Judges 13.
If lost, prayer can recover opportunities.
Blind Bartimeaus. Mk.10:46-50.
Joseph. 40:14.

3. Disciple and Discipline yourself.
You can never become a good leader if you don’t maximise the opportunity of being a good follower.

Elisha/Elijah: 2Kings 3:11.
Discipline. Spiritual, moral, academic, financial. Joseph in the house of Portipher.
Jacob in the house of Laban.

4. Always be expectant. Acts 3:5.

[24] This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

5. Prepare yourself for opportunities. Dress for success.
Joseph. Gen.41:14.
When preparation meets opportunity, the result is called SUCCESS.

6. Use what you have as seed to create opportunities.
Moses: His Rod.
The Widow: Her oil.
David: His sling and stones.
The Shunamite: Her seed.
Peter: His boat.

7. Surrender to Jesus and serve Him.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 NKJV
[11] I returned and saw under the sun that- The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

God is the Master and Owner of time and chance. He alone can make THEM HAPPEN FOR YOU.

John 5:6 NKJV
[6] When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

PRAYERS.

1. Father, command your agents of divine opportunities, Grace, Favour and Mercy to arise for my sake. When they arose for Blind Bartimeaus,he was healed, let them arise for my healing, for my deliverance, for my freedom…..in Jesus’ name.

2. Father, this year, I receive open doors in every department of my life: My career, my business, my finances etc.

3. Angels of good news, Agents of good news, I am available, locate me this month.

4. Child of God, for every great opportunity you have lost, I command sevenfold restoration in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, command the wind of promotion, progress and prosperity to blow in my favour this month in Jesus’ name.
