Topic: The stone has been rolled back

Text: Matthew 28:1-10
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

Resurrection is the rising of our lord Jesus from the dead. He died on a Friday and rose on the third day which was on a Sunday.

He was be crucified and buried
Matthew 27:64-66
64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

During Sabbath nothing happens but at the end of the end of Sabbath activities begin to happen again.
When Sabbath is over positive things will begin to happen for you in Jesus name.

Some examples of rolled back stones:
1. The stone is a sign of closed doors. But when the stone was rolled back, there come the open doors.
2. The stone was there to block the dead from risen up. This forth month is our month of new opportunity. Opportunity for a new beginning.
3. The stone was there to keep the followers of Jesus in shame and disgrace. When the stone was rolled back the garment of Shame and disgrace was changed. Luke 1:25 – 25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
4. The stone was designed to stop the wonders of resurrection from taking place. 1 Corinthians 15:13-19
5. The stone represent what your human power cannot do but only what God can do.
6. The stone was there to prevent the women from coming to Jesus. Matthew 28:9 – 9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
Ezekiel 36:26
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
7. The stone didn’t go back quietly as there was an earthquake then an angel came down from heaven and after it he sat on it. You and I will need spiritual violence or warfare that’s why the kingdom of God suffereth violence and you must take it by force.
