Words are indeed powerful and we create our world through our words. God is committed to perform what we declare by faith with our mouths. Where God sees our faith in operation, He gets excited! By the word of the mouth, austerity was turned around to prosperity in Samaria. By the word, fruitless labour was turned around to fruitful favour for Peter. For the rest of this year, the Lord will answer me as I call upon Him; He will be my guide and deliver me from trouble 2. Dearly Beloved, Genesis 32:30 (NKJV) “So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” The Peniel encounter was a divine turnaround for Jacob. When he had that encounter with God, one of the results was that his appointment with death in the hands of his brother Esau was cancelled. Jacob was glad and excited at his deliverance. He declared, “ I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved”. 3 PRAYER ARROWS for You Today 1. Oh God of Jacob! please give me also a Peniel encounter today 2. Father, please let my life be preserved and let any appointment with sudden and premature death be cancelled in Jesus’ name. 3. In the name of Jesus, the oppressor shall not turn my glory to shame.
